“FARMAGIA” Anime Starts in January 2025: New Visuals and Cast Released

The upcoming TV adaptation of the game "FARMAGIA," featuring character designs by Hiro Mashima, has revealed new details shortly before its premiere on January 10, 2025. New visuals, the main cast, production staff, and an introductory video have been released, giving fans a first glimpse.

The action game "FARMAGIA," released on November 1, is a collaboration between Mashima and Marvelous Inc. The anime adaptation was first announced in June. Directed by chief director Shinji Ishihira and director Toshihiko Sano, the anime team reunites the experienced creators behind the popular "FAIRY TAIL" series, with animation studio Bridge handling production. The original voice actors from the game, including Kōhei Amasaki as Ten and Atsumi Tanezaki as Lucro, reprise their roles, ensuring continuity in the characters' portrayals.

The key visual depicts Ten and other central characters alongside magical creatures, accompanied by the slogan "Raise the seeds (monsters) to save the world," hinting at the adventurous story involving magical beings. The first video features scenes set to music by Shuhei Mutsuki, known for works like "Lycoris Recoil" and "SPY×FAMILY," which atmospherically introduces the characters' complex relationships and the anime's vibrant world.

The opening theme, "Life is Beautiful" by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, serves as the main theme of the original game and is also heard in the promo video. For the ending theme, "Miss-Dystopia" by Sokoni Naru has been selected, another title track from the game.
