Square Enix recently announced in collaboration with TBS that Iro Aida's spinoff manga "After-School Hanako-kun" will be adapted into a short anime. The broadcast is scheduled for October 12.

Leading this project is Masaki Kitamura, who takes on the role of director at Lerche and Studio Hibari. Kazuma Nagatomo will be responsible for the series' scripts. Key roles such as character design and chief animation direction will be handled by Aya Higami.
