The TV anime "Gushing Over Magical Girls," based on the original work by Akio Ono, has released its second promo video and announced new cast members as well as broadcast details. The anime is scheduled to air on January 3, 2024.

Yuka Aisaka plays Rokumujika/Ako Oya, a member of the Lord Group who aims to rule the world controlled by Lord Enorme as an idol. Minami Tsuda plays Nemomoba/Luber Flower, another member of the Lord Group specializing in shadow manipulation. Kana Asumi plays Varts, a mascot-like character who supports the three magical girls, Tres Magia.

The anime will be presented in three different versions based on video and audio modifications and rules: "TV Broadcast Ver.," "Aspiring Ver.," and "Super Aspiring Ver."

The ending theme, "Thorny Sadistic," is performed by the evil organization Enormeeta.

"Gushing Over Magical Girls" is a comedy about an ordinary girl, Utena, who dreams of becoming a magical girl. Suddenly, she is transformed into the female leader of an evil organization by a mysterious mascot, Venarita. The story humorously depicts how Utena develops a sadistic talent while tormenting magical girls.
