“Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai” announces premiere date and additional cast members

The TV anime adaptation of Mori Moe's "Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai" will premiere on April 4. Along with the announcement, new cast members were revealed: Sayumi Suzushiro as Satomi Satomura and Kazuyuki Okitsu as Kuroe no Hiro. "Hananoi-kun to Koi no Yamai" tells the story of Hotaru Hina, a high school girl who leads a loveless life, and the mysterious and charming Hananoi-kun. The story revolves around the developing relationship between the two, intertwined with themes of love and personal growth.

Satomura, voiced by Suzushiro, is a lively and kind-hearted college freshman who works as a senior staff member at the bookstore where Hotaru is employed. Despite her cheerful appearance, her mood can sometimes be unpredictably eccentric, and she is a fan of the idol group VERSUS. On the other hand, Kuroe no Hiro, played by Okitsu, is a book-loving employee at the same bookstore. Although he comes off as unfriendly, he is attentive and sincere.
