Akira Usui's Kiyoshi the Exorcist debuts in Weekly Shonen Jump

The new series "Kiyoshi the Exorcist" (悪祓士のキヨシくん) by Akira Usui makes its debut in the current issue (No. 30) of Weekly Shonen Jump, released today, June 24, by Shueisha.

This humorous action series revolves around exorcists who protect people from demonic beings. The protagonist, 16-year-old Kiyoshi Harai, is a highly gifted graduate of the exorcist academy and finished as the youngest and top student. Despite his extraordinary abilities, Kiyoshi suffers from intense demonophobia. His first assignment takes him to a possessed girl, but his fear leads to a three-hour standoff with the demon. The series highlights Kiyoshi's adventures as the strongest yet most fearful exorcist of all time. To commemorate the series launch, a special promotional video has also been released.
