Before the spring break, Patrick plans to invite Yumiella to the Marquis's kingdom, but he learns that she has other plans. Yumiella, for her part, spends the holidays on important activities, including an encounter with Jessica Monford, who asks for her help in fighting a dragon that threatens her family's land. Yumiella agrees and successfully defeats two dragons.

During her adventures, Yumiella acquires a dragon egg, which she jokingly calls her child. From this egg, filled with her magic, a powerful dragon is destined to hatch. The hatching becomes a spectacle, with Yumiella and Patrick witnessing the birth of a dragon they name Ryu. Ryu grows quickly, causing excitement at school and among the townspeople.

Meanwhile, Patrick grapples with his feelings and intentions toward Yumiella. At the end of the episode, a twist occurs when Linus, a spy from the Remlest Kingdom, makes an offer to Yumiella.
