“Legend of the Galactic Heroes: The New Thesis” announces marathon broadcast with new key visuals and videos

The anime "Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" is preparing for a broadcast marathon, and to celebrate the occasion, new key visuals and promotional videos have been released. The marathon, which begins on January 16, 2024, will air on Nippon TV's anime slot "AnichU" and will include all 48 episodes from the first to the fourth season.

The key visual features the main characters Reinhard and Yang in their military uniforms. The videos are available in two versions: one focusing on Reinhard and the other on Yang. These videos provide insights into the reasons why the two characters chose military careers and their emotional state as they head into battle. Reinhard's version is narrated by Yuuichirou Umehara, the voice of Siegfried Kircheis, while Kaji Yuki, the voice of Julian Mintz, narrates Yang's version.

"Legend of the Galactic Heroes: Die Neue These" is a space opera set in a distant future universe, depicting the conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Free Planets Alliance. At its core are the "invincible genius" Reinhard von Lohengramm and the "undefeated magician" Yang Wen-li. Additionally, the continuation of the anime series was announced in November.
