The TV anime »Heroine? Seijo? Iie, All Works Maid desu (Hokori)!« (short: »All Works Maid«) has released a new main trailer and the official main visual. At the same time, three additional voice actor roles were announced. The series starts on July 1, 2026, on Tokyo MX, BS Fuji, and later on AT-X. On the streaming services dAnime Store and ABEMA, the first episode will be available a week earlier, starting June 24.
Joining the cast are:
- Yuki Ono as Rectius Frood, a guardian knight serving Count Reginberse, who is searching for the count's missing daughter.
- Shun Horie as Byuke, a mysterious young man who attacks a ball.
- Shugo Nakamura as the Demon King, the final boss of the otome game that serves as the backdrop of the story. Nakamura also performs the ending song.
Previously announced main roles include Yume Miyamoto as Melody Wave, Rumi Okubo as Luciana Rudleberg, Yōko Hikasa as Anne-Marie Victilium, and Kōhei Amasaki as Christopher von Théolas.
The opening theme »Madual ↔ Heart« is sung as a duet by the voice actresses of the two heroines – Yume Miyamoto and Rumi Okubo. The song includes surprising rap parts, as the artists revealed in a comment. The ending theme »Handmade« is by Shugo Nakamura, who wrote and composed the song himself.
The story revolves around Melody Wave, a Japanese woman reincarnated into a fantasy world. She is supposed to save the world from destruction as a saint, but instead dedicates her supernatural powers to housework: she cleans, cooks, sews, and handles all tasks for the impoverished count's family, where she works as a maid of all trades. Unbeknownst to her, she is inside an otome game and is the strongest heroine. Romance and demon attacks? No chance – work comes first!
The production is handled by studio EMT Squared. Shinji Ishihira serves as chief director, with Naoya Murakawa as director. The series concept is by Toshizō Nemoto, character design by Eri Tokugawa. The music is composed by Ken Itō and produced by Lantis.
The original light novel series by Atekichi (illustrations: Yukiko) is published by TO Books and had reached a total of 600,000 printed copies by October 2025. A manga adaptation by Keiko is running concurrently. The series is licensed in English by Seven Seas Entertainment.
