On Friday, Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine had revealed its September issue that Takayama’s manga, Amatsuki, is going to be ended in the next issue of the magazine on 28th August.
The manga was published in 2005, and it had inspired an animation in 2008. Last month, 23rd compiled volume of the manga was shipped and it announced that 24th volume would be last.
The story of the manga revolves around a Japanese high school student named Rikugo Tokidoki; he gets failed in a history test. For studying the history, he goes to a museum. In the museum he finds a supernatural power which allows him to visit Edo period virtually. After some time, he discovers that he is getting stuck in the virtual world.
