“MF Ghost” season 2 starts on October 6th with a new promo video

The TV anime "MF Ghost," based on the original work by Shuuichi Shigeno, will begin its second season on October 6. Alongside the announcement, the second promotional video was released, showcasing intense scenes featuring the series' key drivers, including Kanata Katagiri, Michael Beckenbauer, and Kōki Sawatari, who belong to the elite group "God 15." The video offers a glimpse into their determination as they prepare for the second MFG race, the Ashinoko GT.

The title song for the second season was also revealed: "ROCK ME KISS ME feat. MOTSU," performed by Yū Serizawa and MOTSU, who previously collaborated on the opening theme for the first season. The new song can be heard in the latest PV, bringing an energetic vibe to the upcoming season. In a statement, Yū Serizawa shared that she initially had concerns about being accepted as the opening artist due to the legacy of "m.o.v.e.," but the positive reception of her previous track, "JUNGLE FIRE feat. MOTSU," gave her confidence. She hopes to deliver an even more powerful and impressive performance in the second season and promises that "ROCK ME KISS ME feat. MOTSU" will evoke both nostalgia and intense emotions that align with the anime's story development.
