“Midnight Punch” announced with Ikumi Hasegawa as the voice of the protagonist

P.A.WORKS, known for its original TV anime productions, has announced a new series titled "Midnight Punch," with Ikumi Hasegawa voicing the protagonist Masaki. The announcement was accompanied by the release of Masaki's character image and a spotlight video, giving fans a glimpse of the character's design and voice.

"Midnight Punch," set to air in July, is a girls' comedy centered around the lives of NewTubers on the world's largest video-sharing platform, NewTube. The story follows Masaki, a former member of the NewTuber group "Harikiri Sisters," who is expelled from the channel after an incident. In search of a comeback, Masaki teams up with "Rib," who senses a strange fateful connection between them, to reach one million subscribers by embarking on a new video-posting journey.
