“Mononoke: Karakasa” opens in theaters on July 26th – special preview released

The special preview for "Mononoke: Karakasa," which hits theaters on July 26, has been unveiled. The footage begins with a lively narration by Saka-shita, the guardian of the "Seven Gates" that connect the Ōoku to the outside world. This is followed by a vibrant introduction of male characters, including Saburōmaru, voiced by Yūki Kaji, and Taira Moto, voiced by Jun Fukuyama, both making their first appearances.

"Mononoke: Karakasa" follows the Medicine Seller, voiced by Hiroshi Kamiya, as he ventures into the Ōoku to hunt Mononoke and uncover hidden truths. The story revolves around the servants Asa, voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa, and Kame, voiced by Aoi Yūki, showcasing the complex human relationships within the Ōoku and the supernatural occurrences caused by the Mononoke.
