The anime "MONSTERS Ippaku Sanjou Hiryu Samurai Kiwami," based on the original work by Eiichiro Oda, is set to be released worldwide simultaneously in January 2024. In Japan, the film will be available on Netflix and Prime Video. Along with this announcement, character images and a key visual have been revealed.
The anime adaptation brings to life the short story "MONSTERS," which was first published in 1994 in the autumn special issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump. The story is set in a world where dragons have appeared and focuses on the journey of the young samurai Ryuma, who becomes entangled in a dramatic tale of sword fights while searching for the soul of a "warrior."

Additionally, characters such as D.R. and the dragons are introduced. The key visual captures the interconnected destinies of Ryuma, Flare, and Cyrano against the backdrop of their brave battles with dragons, embodying fear itself.
The cast for these characters will be announced at a later date.
