Saku Sakamoto's upcoming anime film Amrita no Kyōen (The Feast of Amrita) was announced on the official website of his previous work Aragne: Sign of Vermilion. The film will be a prequel spin-off to Aragne and is set to hit theaters in 2021. The story follows Tamahi, a high school girl who encounters strange creatures in a massive building.

As with Aragne: Sign of Vermilion, Sakamoto will produce the film alone, handling the original concept, script, animation, direction, and music. It is rare for a single person to take on all these tasks in an anime production exceeding 60 minutes in length.
Sakamoto successfully launched a crowdfunding campaign for Aragne: Sign of Vermilion in 2017 on the Japanese platform Makuake, reaching the project goal of 2 million yen (approx. $17,800 USD). He also ran a successful Kickstarter campaign for the English translation and funding of festival screenings of the film. The film premiered in 2018 at the Fantasia Festival in Montreal, Canada.
