The final volume of Kohei Horikoshi's manga series My Hero Academia, Volume 42, was officially released in Japan today, December 4. The concluding volume includes a special 38-page chapter that continues the story after the finale. The first page of this new section has already been published.

To celebrate the release of the final volume, a unique collaboration with Marvel Comics was launched. Kohei Horikoshi created a special artwork featuring Marvel's Spider-Man alongside Deku and All Might from My Hero Academia. Originally, Marvel artist Olivier Coipel, a huge fan of My Hero Academia, was supposed to contribute his own artwork but had to withdraw due to illness. Instead, Humberto Ramos, known for his work on Spider-Man, and colorist Edgar Delgado stepped in. Together, they created an artwork featuring Marvel's Black Cat alongside female characters from My Hero Academia.

The collaboration illustrations are available to view on the official Marvel website starting today. Coipel's work will be published there once completed. Additionally, the page features an exclusive Q&A with Horikoshi.
