From January 24th to 27th, 2008, the southern French city of Angoulême will once again become the center of the comic universe as the Festival International de la Bande Dessinée opens its doors. As every year, countless fans, comic creators, artists, and critics will attend the comic fair—including, of course, a few Carlsen sleuths... Some events will once again focus on manga, which remains extremely en vogue among our European neighbors!

One highlight is already confirmed—there will be a major exhibition featuring works by CLAMP, the artist team well-known to many of you through series like X/1999, Tsubasa Chronicle, or Chobits. The Espace Franquin will showcase original artworks, a fake studio, screenings of CLAMP anime, workshops, and much more!

Additionally, rumors are growing stronger that a small exhibition featuring works by Lady Snowblood artist Kazuo Kamimura may also be displayed.
