Animation series [i]Tamon-kun: Two Worlds[/i] starts in January 2026

The manga adaptation Tamon-kun: Zwei Welten (original title: Tamon-kun wa Tokidoki!) by Shibata Yuki will be broadcast as an anime series starting January 2026. Alongside the announcement, the debut song F/ACE OFF by the fictional idol group F/ACE was presented, accompanied by an elaborately produced music video.

The group F/ACE consists of five members, including the main character Tamon Fukuhara, voiced by Hatano Shō. The music video tells a symbolic story: Sakaguchi Ōri (Shōya Chiba) moves from an orderly, rigid world into a dynamic "chaos world" after meeting Tamon. This visual representation reflects the central theme of the series: the contrast between public persona and private identity.

In addition to the series, a voice drama project will launch on June 25. The first episode highlights Tamon and Ōri from two perspectives: The "A-side" features the characters discussing the music video, with this version appearing on official platforms. The "B-side" provides deeper insights into the characters' inner thoughts and will be released exclusively on the audio platform Kikigatari.

At the center of the story is Utage Kinoshita (voiced by Hayami Saori), a student and passionate fan of idol Tamon. Through a part-time job in the idol's household, she discovers his dual nature: While Tamon appears charismatic and confident in public, he reveals himself to be vulnerable and reserved in private. The group F/ACE is rounded out by additional characters: Sakaguchi Ōri as the charming "prince," Tachibana Keito as the caring leader, Ishibashi Natsuki as the versatile rapper, and Kai Rintarō as the calm dancer.

The series is directed by Nagaoka Tomoka (J.C.STAFF), with character designs by Ito Yōko. Tamon-kun: Zwei Welten blends romantic comedy with a behind-the-scenes look at the entertainment industry and is already generating high expectations among fans.
