Anime “16bit Sensation: Another Layer” reveals cast, staff and premiere date

The Aniplex Online Fest 2023 recently unveiled a full promotional video and a new key visual for the upcoming anime "16bit Sensation: Another Layer." Based on the manga "16bit Sensation: Watashi to Minna ga Tsukutta Bishōjo Game" by Misato Mitsumi, Tatsuki Amazuyu, and Tamiki Wakaki, the anime is set to premiere on October 4.

Newly announced cast members include Kentaro Ito as Masaru Rokuta, Jun Fukushima as Kiyoshi Gomikawa, and Aya Yamane as Toya Yamada. Additional staff members have also been revealed:

The anime will feature an original story and is directed by Takashi Sakuma from Silver Studio. The original manga creator, Tamiki Wakaki, is collaborating with former AQUAPLUS writer Tatsuya Takahashi on the anime's script. Character design is handled by Masakatsu Sasaki, with music composed by Yashikin. Sound direction is led by Satoshi Motoyama, and Shoko Nakagawa will perform the opening theme song titled "65535."
The original manga's story follows Meiko Uehara, a college student in 1992 who takes a part-time job at a PC shop. Unbeknownst to her, the shop is actually a front for a company that develops erotic bishōjo games. Soon, she finds herself working as a sub-graphic artist and grappling with the complexities of game development.
