The anime adaptation "Dandadan," based on the original work by Ryoko Shin, is set to premiere in October. With the release of the first key visual and trailer, fans were able to get their first glimpse of the series.

"Dandadan" combines elements of the occult, bizarre battles, and romantic comedy. At the center are Ayase Momo, a high school girl from a family of spirit mediums, and her classmate and occult enthusiast Okarun, whose real name is Takakura Ken. The first key visual captures a moment full of excitement and dynamism, showing Momo and Okarun fleeing from the malicious Yokai Turbo Granny, who is wreaking havoc across the country.

The promotional video offers a glimpse into the adventures awaiting the duo, including visits to UFOs and haunted houses to convince others of the existence of ghosts and aliens.

The series is directed by Kazega Yamashiro, while Hiroshi Seko is responsible for series composition and scriptwriting. The animation is produced by Science SARU.
