The recent announcement by Overlap brings the TV anime adaptation of the light novel series "7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!" by Tōko Amekawa and Wan Hachipisu within reach. The anime is set to hit screens in 2024.



At the heart of the anime are the characters Rishe Imgard Wertsner and Arnold Hein, voiced by Ikumi Hasegawa and Nobunaga Shimazaki, respectively.

The anime production company includes Studio KAI and HORNETS, with Kazuya Iwata directing. Touko Machida will be responsible for the series composition, while Kenichi Ōnuki is in charge of character design. Other key roles are filled by a range of individuals—from costume and prop design to art direction, music, and sound effects.

A look into the plot reveals the life of Rishe, a character who has experienced reincarnation seven times. From being a merchant to a knight, she has done it all. But in her current life, she has a simple goal: to enjoy luxury and bask in it. However, there's a twist. To achieve this, she must marry a prince—the very one responsible for her downfall. The narrative is peppered with the wisdom and strategies Rishe has gathered in her past lives, as she attempts to break free from this cycle.
