The novel "Blade & Bastard" by Kagyu Kumo is officially being adapted into an anime. Along with this announcement, a teaser visual illustrated by so-bin, known for their work on Overlord, as well as a teaser video were revealed.

"Blade & Bastard" brings together Kagyu, the creator of Goblin Slayer, and so-bin to combine their talents and create a dark, labyrinthine adventure inspired by the world of the role-playing game Wizardry. The story follows Ialmas, an adventurer who has lost his memory and works at a temple tasked with reviving the dead. His daily routine of retrieving corpses from the labyrinth changes when he meets a young girl, the sole survivor of a wiped-out group known as "the trash."

The novel series was published by Drecom in four volumes, and a manga adaptation by Makoto Kaede is currently being serialized by DRE Comics.
