Anime adaptation by Ubel Blatt starts in January 2025

The TV anime adaptation of the manga "Ubel Blatt" by Etorouji Shiono will premiere in January 2025. Along with this announcement, the first key visual and promo clip were released.

The key visual shows the protagonist Koinzell with a determined expression against the backdrop of an important "moon" in the story. The first trailer features intense battle scenes and offers a glimpse into the world of the series.

Additionally, further details about the production team were revealed. Takashi Naoya, known for "Marriage Rings," will direct, while Tatsuya Takahashi, who worked on "Am I Actually the Strongest?" is handling the series composition. Sei Tateishi is responsible for character design, and the animation is being produced jointly by Satellite and Staple Entertainment. Hina Tachibana has been announced as the voice of Peepi.

"Ubel Blatt" is a dark fantasy story that follows the journey of Koinzell, a boy who returns from the brink of death to take revenge on the "Seven Heroes" who betrayed their comrades and gained fame. The manga is published by Square Enix under Big Gangan.
