Anime adaptation for "The Exiled Cheating Magician Enjoys an Unrestrained Second Life" announced.

The popular light novel and manga series Tsuihō Sareta Cheat Fuyo Majutsushi wa Kimamana Second Life o Ōka Suru is receiving a television series adaptation. The anime studio P.A.WORKS, known for works such as Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, is responsible for the production.

The story revolves around Rein, an enchanter who can enhance equipment with his magic. After being expelled from his guild, he decides to reclaim all the mana he invested in their items. When he channels this energy into an ordinary copper sword, it transforms into an overpowered weapon. Despite having no combat experience, Rein now begins a new life as an adventurer.

The original author of the series, Asa Rokushima, expressed delight at the announcement of the adaptation. The character designs are by illustrator kisui, while Gyōmuyōmochi is responsible for the artwork of the manga adaptation. Both artists have contributed illustrations to celebrate the announcement.

An official release date for the anime series has not yet been announced. Further details are expected to follow at a later time. The series is also referred to by the abbreviated title Chi-Fuyo.
