The anime adaptation of Keisuke Itagaki's manga Baki-Dō will be available exclusively on Netflix worldwide in 2026. This was announced as part of the Netflix 10th Anniversary Event. Simultaneously, a teaser trailer and a teaser key visual were released.

The plot of Baki-Dō picks up after the greatest father-son battle in history between protagonist Baki Hanma and his father Yuujirou Hanma, who is considered the "strongest creature in the world". For Baki and the other fighters, a phase of monotonous everyday life follows. This is abruptly ended by an unprecedented experiment by Mitsunari Tokugawa, which is directed "against the gods".

The released material already gives a glimpse of the new opponent: The legendary Miyamoto Musashi, considered the strongest sword master of Japan. He poses a new threat to Baki and the other fighters.

The voice of Baki Hanma will be provided, as in the previous Netflix adaptations of "Baki" and "Hanma Baki", by Nobunaga Shimazaki.
