Anime adaptation of "Jasmine-chan's Affection is Defective" announced.

The manga series "Jasmine's Affection is Defective" by Rin Komugi is receiving an anime television adaptation. The romantic comedy centers on high school student Kitami Kanata, who one day gains the ability to see other people's affection in the form of a numerical display. In doing so, he discovers that the display for his long-time crush Chitose Jasmine is completely destroyed and appears to be melting. The plot explores both the heartwarming and the intense, hidden sides of the female characters.

The main roles are cast with Kohei Amasaki as Kitami Kanata and Maaya Uchida as Chitose Jasmine. A first key visual shows the four heroines of the story alongside their respective affection displays. A released promotional video offers first glimpses into the series, presents voices from the cast, and uses the opening theme song performed by Maaya Uchida.
