Anime adaptation of "Mayonaka Heart Tune" announced-first details published

The manga "Mayonaka Heart Tune" ("Midnight Heart Tune") by Chihiro Igarashi is being adapted into a TV anime. To celebrate this announcement, a first teaser image and an official trailer for the series have been released.

The story follows a young protagonist who tries to uncover the true identity of the mysterious radio host Apollo. He is supported by four female students from Fūrin High School, all of whom are members of the broadcasting club. Each of these four characters harbors their own feelings and secrets, resulting in a romantic comedy filled with youthful everyday situations.

The released teaser image shows the four main female characters in the recording room of the school's radio studio: the girls are depicted in an everyday scenario, while background details hint at their individual personalities. A first trailer, also released, showcases the voices of the main characters, though the voice actresses have not yet been revealed.

The official names of the voice actresses, along with further details, will be announced during an event at the "AnimeJapan 2025" convention on March 23. Additionally, an interactive fan activity will be offered there, where visitors can leave personal messages in a special exhibition area and receive exclusive collectibles in return.

"Mayonaka Heart Tune" is based on a manga by Chihiro Igarashi, which has been serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Magazine" since September 2023 and currently spans eight volumes.
