Anime adaptation of "Raise wa Tanin ga Ii" announced alongside the release of Volume 8

The manga "Raise wa Tanin ga Ii" by Konishi Asunari will soon be adapted into an anime, as announced on the official websites of Konishi and the Monthly Afternoon Magazine. The manga series, which revolves around a romantic comedy between high school student Somei Yoshino, who grew up in a yakuza household, and her fiancé Fukayama Kirishima, has been serialized in the Monthly Afternoon Magazine since August 2017. Today, the eighth volume of the manga has been released.



The series has been highly praised by critics and won first place in the Comics category at the "Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Award" in 2018. Fans of the series should stay tuned for more details about the upcoming anime adaptation.

To celebrate the double milestone of the anime announcement and the soundtrack release, a special promotional video was also unveiled. The video features additional vocal performances by Akira Ishida as Kirishima, Koji Yusa as Toriashi Shoma, and Hiroshi Kamiya as Suo Azami. This video will only be available for a limited time until January 21, 2024.
