Anime adaptation of Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon is slated for release in July 2023

The light novel series "Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon" by Hirukuma will make its anime debut in July 2023. The official Twitter account for the anime recently released the key visual and a comprehensive promotional video, introducing the audience to the opening song "Fanfare" by BRADIO, as well as the main cast and crew.



The story, known for its unusual premise, revolves around a middle-aged man who is reincarnated as a vending machine—the thing he admired most in life. Jun Fukuyama voices Hakkon (also known as Boxxo), the vending machine, while Kaede Hondo takes on the role of Lammis. The anime also features the talents of Shiki Aoki, Miyu Tomita, Kazuya Nakai, Ai Kayano, Atsushi Miyauchi, Daiki Yamashita, Junya Enoki, and Takuya Eguchi, who lend their voices to various characters.

The creative team includes Ryou Akizuki for monster design and Masayuki Takahashi as assistant director. The chief animation directors Naoki Yamauchi, Nanako Tatsu, and Yoshiaki Tsubata are responsible for the animation, with character design by Shigeyuki Koresawa and Tom from Digital Noise. The vending machine designs are handled by Michiru Odaka and Monta Tokita, while Yoko Suzuki is in charge of color design. Other notable contributors include Eiji Iwase as art director, Masashi Uoyama as compositing director of photography, and Kentarou Tsubone for editing. Fumiyuki Go is responsible for sound, and the music was composed by Yuta Uraki and Keita Takahashi.
