Anime adaptation of "Steel Ball Run: JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken" for Netflix announced

The seventh saga of the series "JoJo no Kimyō na Bōken" (English title: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure) is being adapted as an anime production. The part "Steel Ball Run" is scheduled to be available exclusively on the streaming service Netflix in the year 2026. This information was announced during an official online presentation.
The plot is set in America in the late 19th century and follows the ride across the North American continent. The focus is on the former jockey Johnny Joestar, who is paralyzed after an accident. He teams up with the mysterious lawbreaker Gyro Zeppeli to participate in the dangerous race.
At the same time, the voice actors for the main characters were confirmed. The role of Johnny Joestar will be voiced by Shōgo Sakata. Gyro Zeppeli will receive his voice from Yōhei Azakami. Other central figures are Diego Brando, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa, Lucy Steel with the voice of Rie Takahashi and Steven Steel, portrayed by Kenta Miyake.
