The manga series "Uchi no Otōto-domo ga Sumimasen" by Akira Ozaki is being animated as a television series for the year 2026. First visual impressions have been released.

The series is a family love comedy and revolves around high school student Ito Nari, whose mother remarries. By moving into the new household, Ito learns that her stepfather has four sons: Minamoto, Raku, Hīragi, and Rui. Suddenly becoming the big sister to four brothers, she tries to find her way in her new role and build a good relationship with them.

The voice actors for the two main characters have been announced:

- Naomi Ōzora will play the role of Ito Nari.

- Toshiki Masuda voices Minamoto Nari, the eldest of the four brothers.

A first teaser visual and a short preview trailer give an early impression of the series' style. The direction is by Hitoshi Nanba, the series composition is by Megumi Shimizu. The character design was developed by Shihei Hiraiwa and Yōko Fukushima. The music is composed by Gin (BUSTED ROSE). The animation production has been commissioned to the studio Lay-duce.

The manga is published in the magazine "Bessatsu Margaret" by Shueisha. So far, 14 collected volumes have been released. The story was already adapted into a live-action film in 2024.
