A first look at the upcoming animation series "Kamiina Botan, Yoeru Sugata wa Yuri no Hana" is now available. The released material provides insights into the production and shows various work steps in the creation of the images.

The series is based on the manga series of the same name by Hey, which has been published in Akita Shoten's "Champion Cross" since March 2019. It tells the story of 20-year-old student Botan Kamiina, who comes from Nagano Prefecture and lives in a dormitory in Chichibu. Her daily life changes when she meets Ibuki Tonami, the dormitory manager, and through her tries alcohol for the first time. This encounter leads to a close friendship and regular shared drinking meetings. The plot deals with various alcoholic beverages and cultural activities associated with social gatherings.

At the center of the story is the titular protagonist Botan Kamiina, voiced by Sayumi Suzushiro. Her new friend and companion Ibuki Tonami is voiced by Yoshino Aoyama. The wider circle of main characters includes, among others:

- Kanade Gujō (Voice: Minako Kotobuki), a fellow student who harbors feelings for Ibuki.

- Yaeka Kitamori (Voice: Miyu Tomita) and Akane Yusa (Voice: Yurina Amami), two friendly students.

- Zhang Jinglan (Voice: Maki Kawase), a student from Taiwan.

The television adaptation was announced in March 2025. The animation work is being carried out by Studio Soigne under the direction of Takashi Sakuma. Other responsible positions in the team are:

- Music: Kana Hashiguchi

The television series is scheduled to air in April 2026.
