The official website for the anime adaptation of Kōsuke Satake's manga "The Witch and the Beast" (Majo to Yajū) has released a teaser trailer with English subtitles, an image, as well as details about the main cast and staff, confirming a premiere in January 2024.

As for the cast, Yō Taichi will voice the character Guideau, and Toshiyuki Morikawa will lend his voice to Ashaf. Both characters are key figures in the story: Guideau is a wild girl with beast-like traits, and Ashaf is a gentle man who carries a coffin.

Takayuki Hamana is in charge of directing, while Hiroya Iijima is responsible for character design.

The plot of "The Witch and the Beast" revolves around the duo Guideau and Ashaf, who arrive in a town under the influence of a witch. The witch has convinced the townspeople that she is their heroine, but Guideau and Ashaf know the truth. They have a personal score to settle and would not hesitate to eliminate anyone who stands in their way.

Kōsuke Satake first launched the manga in Kodansha's Young Magazine the 3rd in November 2016, which later moved to Monthly Young Magazine in 2021.
