The adaptation of the manga series "Yano-kun no Futsu no Hibi" into an anime series has been confirmed. The plot of the romantic comedy focuses on the perpetually unlucky student Tsuyoshi Yano and the concerned class representative Kiyoko Yoshida.
In addition to the already known voice actors, two more voice actors have been announced for their participation. Satoshi Hino takes on the role of Yano's father, a character who possesses a similar predisposition for misfortunes as his son. Takuya Eguchi voices the teacher Ōmiya, the homeroom teacher of the two main characters.
Ahead of the series release, a live broadcast with information about the production is planned. The voice actors of the main roles will participate in this event. The broadcast is scheduled for September 13.
