Anime adaptation of “The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids” announced for January 2024

The popular manga series "The Strongest Tank's Labyrinth Raids" is set to be adapted into an anime series. The anime adaptation, directed by Ryuta Kijima and Mikoto Kisaragi, also revealed key details such as the cast, teaser visuals, and a preview video.





The story revolves around a young man named Rud, who is known as the strongest "tank" in a group of heroes. Rud stands out due to his impressive stamina of 9999 but is kicked out of the group for his "useless abilities." The plot unfolds as Rud acquires new abilities that lead him down a different path. The manga is serialized on the Manga UP! app, with the latest 9th volume set to release on October 6.

Rud is voiced by Jun Kasama. Other key characters include Nin, a nun trained in healing magic who harbors feelings for Rud, voiced by Kaede Honda, and Luna, a young girl with unique abilities in assessment and combat, voiced by Kana Ichinose. STUDIO POLON is responsible for the animation.

The teaser image shows Rud protecting Nin and Luna from enemy attacks with his shield. The announcement was accompanied by comments and special illustrations from creator Ryuta Kijima, designer Mikoto Kisaragi, and the cast.
