The TV anime adaptation of Mayu Murata's "Honey Lemon Soda" is expected to air in January 2025 as part of Fuji TV's "+Ultra" programming block.

The story of "Honey Lemon Soda," which has been serialized in Shueisha's Ribon magazine since February 2016, revolves around the transformative journey of Uka Ishimori. After being bullied, Uka decides to attend a high school known for its free-spirited atmosphere in order to change herself. There, she meets Kai Miura, a cool and popular boy with lemon-yellow hair. Inspired by this chance encounter and a single remark Kai made during her middle school years, Uka chooses to attend the high school. The series beautifully portrays Uka's gradual integration into her class and her personal growth, encouraged by Kai.

The anime project, announced in early March, is directed by Hiroshi Kouro and animated by J.C.STAFF. Further details, including the cast, will be revealed in future updates.
