Anime "Chicken Fighter" from April 5th on various streaming platforms

The anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani's manga "Chicken Fighter" (Japanese "Niwatori Faitā") will start on April 5th at 24:30 on ABEMA and will subsequently be released on numerous other platforms. Additionally, a broadcast on Cartoon Network is planned.

The series, described as "Rooster Battle Action," tells the story of a single rooster who stands up against the humanity-threatening "Kijū" (beast monsters). Studio Sanzigen is responsible for the production. Daisuke Suzuki directs, while Kōji Seko is in charge of series composition. The main cast includes Kenta Miyake as Keiji and Shiori Izawa as Piyoko. Other voice roles are performed by, among others, Mariko Honda, Tomohiro Ōno, Kōmei Kanuka, and Yūko Kaida.

The second official trailer for the anime is already available on YouTube. The broadcast on Japanese television begins on April 5th at 24:00 on TOKYO MX and on the same day at 24:00 on Cartoon Network. BS Nippon TV follows on April 6th at 23:30.
