Anime "Dark Gathering" Releases New Promotional Video And Key Visual Ahead Of Premiere

A new promotional video for the upcoming series "Dark Gathering," based on the manga by Kenichi Kondō, has been released. The promotional material also features the opening theme "Kakuriyo" (Afterlife), sung by Luz. Additionally, a third key visual has been unveiled on the anime's official website, further heightening anticipation for this supernatural thriller series.



The premiere on Tokyo MX is scheduled for July 9.

The series "Dark Gathering" features voice actors Yū Sasahara, Nobunaga Shimazaki, Kana Hanazawa, and Rina Kawaguchi. Hiroshi Ikehata directs the series, with scripts supervised by Shigeru Murakoshi. Shin'ya Segawa is responsible for the character design, while the music is composed by Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita, and Yūsuke Seo.

"Dark Gathering" tells the story of Keitarō Gentōga, a spirit medium who becomes a recluse after an incident involving spirit possession in middle school. He decides to reintegrate into society as a private tutor, and in this new role, he meets Yayoi Hōzuki, a genius girl who immediately recognizes his abilities as a spirit medium. This triggers a chain of events that leads to their joint pursuit of evil spirits.
