Anime "Dark Gathering" Reveals New Promotional Video and First Air Date in July

The TV anime adaptation of the manga "Dark Gathering" by Kenichi Kondō recently released a new promotional video on its official Twitter account. The video showcases the characters and horror scenes while also announcing the anime's premiere in July.



"Dark Gathering" features an all-star cast, including Yū Sasahara as Yayoi Hо̄zuki, Nobunaga Shimazaki as Keitarо̄ Gentо̄ga, Kana Hanazawa as Eiko Hо̄zuki, and Rina Kawaguchi as Ai Kamiyo. The anime is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata at OLM. Shigeru Murakoshi is in charge of the series composition, and Shin'ya Segawa handles the character design. The music composition is by Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita, and Yūsuke Seo.

The story follows Keitarō Gentōga, a spirit medium with a troubled past who has been living in seclusion for over two years. When he reintegrates into society as a private tutor, he meets the genius Yayoi Hōzuki, who quickly recognizes his spiritual abilities. Yayoi invites Keitarō to join her on a thrilling ghost-hunting adventure, and thus begins their journey together to capture malevolent spirits.
