Anime "Darwin's Game" announces new story arc

New promotional material for the animated series "Darwin's Game" has been released. The release provides insights into an upcoming narrative segment of the production.

The series is based on the manga original by Shun Umezawa. The plot follows participants of a mobile game that leads to dangerous confrontations. The upcoming episodes deal with an event referred to as the "Red Pill Shooting Incident." This focuses on events at Shrewsbury High School, which are connected to a person named Gale and their association with a militant group.

The artistic direction of the adaptation is overseen by director Tsutomu Kasai. Character design is handled by Shinpei Tomooka. The released material includes a promotional video as well as still images from the new episodes.
