Anime film “Trapezium” reveals main poster, trailer and more cast

The anime film "Trapezium" recently unveiled its main poster and trailer, thrilling fans with new updates. Kizuna Shotaro and Uchimura Teruyoshi from JO1 were confirmed as new voice actors, lending their talents to the roles of Kudo Shinji and Itami Hideichi, respectively.

"Trapezium," set to premiere in Japanese theaters on May 10, is based on a youth novel by Kazumi Takayama, who previously worked with Nogizaka46. The story follows Yuu Higashi, a schoolgirl who aspires to become an idol. She embarks on a journey to meet beauties from all directions—east, west, south, and north—to fulfill her dreams. Shinji, played by Shotaro, is a boy Yuu meets during her search for Kurumi Taiga, the beauty from the west. The camera-loving Shinji plays a pivotal role in the growth of Yuu and her friends. Uchimura's character Itami is an older, volunteer guide who assists Yuu and her friends as an interpreter during their quest.

The film's main poster features the protagonist Yuu ascending into the sky, surrounded by her beautiful companions from the west, south, and north, as well as Shinji and Itami.
