The anime adaptation of Atsushi Ohkubo's manga "Fire Force" (original title: "Enen no Shōbōtai") is officially complete. The final episode of the series, the 25th episode of the second cour of the third season ("San no Shō"), aired in Japan on April 4. To mark the occasion, a special final visual was released, showing protagonist Shinra Kusakabe giving a smiling salute.

In addition to the new visual, a "Special Opening for the Final Episode" is available on the anime's official YouTube channel. The video features a split-screen design: on the left side, scenes from the ending of the first cour of the third season play, while on the right side, images from the ending of the second cour are shown. Together, they present impressive flashbacks to the many battles of the Special Fire Force and their enemies, the Evangelists.

"Fire Force" is set in a world where people suddenly transform into fiery monsters called Infernals. The series follows Shinra Kusakabe, a young firefighter with the ability to control flames from his feet, who joins the Special Fire Force to get to the bottom of the phenomenon. The dark fantasy manga by Atsushi Ohkubo (known for "Soul Eater") was serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Magazine" (Kodansha) from September 2015 to February 2022.

The first season of the anime aired in 2019, the second followed in 2020. The final third season was broadcast in two parts: the first cour started in April 2025, the second cour ran from January 9 to April 4, 2026. Both parts of the final season were animated by Studio David Production.
