A new trailer has been released for the TV anime "Kore Kaite Shine" (roughly "Draw This and Die"), based on the original manga by Minoru Toyoda. The series will premiere on July 3 in the "Furaani" programming block of Japanese broadcaster Nippon TV.

The trailer begins with protagonist Ai Ami encountering her source of inspiration, the manga "Robo Tai to Pokota." Later scenes show her founding a manga research club and experiencing the highs and lows of creative work. The opening theme "Isho" (Testament) was written specifically for the anime by Tatsuya Kitani. Kitani comments that the song explores the idea of viewing creative work as a "testament" that is constantly rewritten throughout life.

"Kore Kaite Shine" is described as a "manga x high school girl" coming-of-age story in which first-year student Ai Ami grows through the joys and sorrows of drawing manga. Ai Ami is voiced by Akira Sekine. The main cast also includes Saori Hayami, Misaki Nimi, Kanon Fujimura, Inori Minase, Noriko Hidaka, Atsumi Tanezaki, Yūko Minaguchi (Yukana), and Kikuko Inoue.

Hiroaki Akagi directs the series, with series composition by Hiroko Fukuda. Character designs are by Kenju Segawa, and music is composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi. Animation production is handled by Shin-Ei Animation.
