The upcoming anime film "The Concierge," based on the manga "The Concierge at Hokkyoku Department Store" by Tsuchika Nishimura, recently released a new video featuring the title song "Gift" by singer Myuk. The film is set to hit theaters in Japan on October 20.

An ensemble of voice actors has been announced for the film. Natsumi Kawaida will voice Akino, the main character. Additional voices include Takeo Ōtsuka, Nobuo Tobita, Megumi Han, Natsumi Fujiwara, Eiji Yoshitomi, Jun Fukuyama, Yūichi Nakamura, and many others, portraying a variety of human and animal characters.

The film marks Yoshimi Itazu's first attempt at directing a feature-length anime. The screenplay is written by Satomi Ooshima, and the film's music is composed by electronic music producer tofubeats. Character design and chief animation direction are handled by Chiyo Morita, with Production I.G producing the film. Aniplex will distribute the film.

The original manga is set in a whimsical department store where all the customers are animals. Akino, the new concierge, navigates this unique environment, striving to understand her unusual clientele and provide them with suitable recommendations.
