First looks at the title sequence design are available for the new anime television series SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table. The series is based on an award-winning light novel series and is produced by Studio Deen.

The visual opening sequence is accompanied by the musical piece ¬Ersterbend, performed by LIN, the frontman of the group MADKID. The emotional conclusion of each episode is provided by the title Inori (Prayer), sung by the singer Chiai Fujikawa. The plot follows Yuuki, who awakens in a strange mansion and discovers that she and five other girls are trapped in maid uniforms. They must realize that the estate is riddled with deadly traps and they can only escape by participating in brutal "Death Games". Unlike the others, however, Yuuki is not desperate but experienced: she is a professional player of such death matches and lives off the prize money she earns from them.

The anime adaptation is based on the light novel series Shi (死亡遊戯で飯を食う). The series, written by Yūshi Ukai and illustrated by Nekometal, won the Excellence Award at the 18th MF Bunko J Light Novel Newcomer Award in 2022 and later ranked first in the "New Title" category of the prestigious Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! rankings. A manga adaptation has been serialized in the magazine Comp Ace since April 2023.
