Anime 'Petty Bourgeois Series' Unveils First Promotional Video Highlighting Characters' Voices

The TV anime adaptation of Honobu Yonezawa's novels, known as the "Petty Bourgeois Series," has unveiled its first promo video. The highly anticipated series will begin airing in July. The video gives fans a first look at the characters with new visuals and the voices of the main cast: Shougorou Kogoto, voiced by Shuichiro Umeda, Yukini Kosai, voiced by Hina Yomemiya, and Kengo Dojima, voiced by Makoto Furukawa.

The "Petty Bourgeois Series" is an anime adaptation of Yonezawa's mystery novels "The Springtime Limited Strawberry Tart Case" and "The Summertime Limited Tropical Parfait Case." The story follows Shougorou Kogoto, who, after a bitter experience with "mental work" in the form of detective work, aims to lead a modest school life as a "petty bourgeois." With his classmate Yukini Kosai, who shares his ambitions, the two form a secret support relationship. Despite their efforts to live a quiet life, they become entangled in a series of unexplained incidents and accidents, resulting in a tale full of secrets and intrigue.
