The series is a fantasy story about the strongest Demon King in a future world where magic has been lost. The story begins when Leonis, the most powerful Demon King who sealed himself away in preparation for an upcoming battle, awakens after 1,000 years to find himself in the form of a 10-year-old boy.
Shimizu is the author of the light novel, while Asagi Tōsaka provides the illustrations. The novel was first published in MF Bunko J by KADOKAWA in May 2019. There are currently 7 volumes, with the 8th set to release on October 25.
Asuka Keigen began serializing a manga adaptation in KADOKAWA’s Monthly Shounen Ace magazine in November 2019. The fourth volume is scheduled for release on October 26.
