The TV adaptation of Hiroshi Fukuda's manga, "Rock wa Shukujo no Tashinami deshite" ("Rock Is a Lady’s Pastime"), has now announced its premiere date along with a key visual, additional cast members, and a preview video.

The story centers on Lilisa, a girl who initially turned her back on her passion for rock music and playing the guitar due to societal expectations. Through an encounter with her classmate Otoha, who plays the drums, her enthusiasm for music is rekindled.

The newly revealed key visual shows Lilisa and her friends playing music together on the campus of Sakuragokoro Girls' Academy. Additional characters have also been announced: Tina Insemi, an upperclassman known for her popularity and nicknamed the "Prince of Sakuragokoro," will be voiced by Ayaka Fukuhara. Additionally, Natsumi Fujiwara will play the role of the talented guitarist Tamaki Shiraya, a childhood friend of Otoha.

The preview video, also released, introduced the voices of the new characters for the first time, as well as clips of the opening song "Ready to Rock" by the group BAND-MAID and the ending theme "Yume ja Nai nara Nan nanosa" by Little Glee Monster.

An exclusive advance screening will also take place soon in Tokyo, featuring voice actresses Akira Sekine and Miyuri Shimabukuro, as well as members of BAND-MAID.
