The TV anime »Saijo no Osewa – Takane no Hana-darake na Meimonkō de, Gakuin-ichi no Ojō-sama (Seikatsu Nōryoku Kai Mu) o Kage nagara Osewa suru Koto ni Narimashita« (international: Rich Girl Caretaker) will premiere on MBS on July 4, 2026. Broadcasting on TV Tokyo begins one day later, on July 10 on BS Asahi. This was announced by the production team on May 22, along with new details about the cast, the opening theme, and a first promotional clip.

The additional voice actors include Ami Koshimizu as Shizune Tsurumi, a cool and capable maid of the Konohana household who drills the main protagonist Izuki in discipline and self-defense. Takehito Koyasu lends his voice to Kagen Konohana, the patriarch of Japan's richest zaibatsu and father of Hinako. Previously confirmed were Yusho Uemura as Izuki Tomonari, Konomi Kohara as Hinako Konohana, Saori Onishi as Mirei Tennoji, and Rio Tsuchiya as Naruka Miyajima.

The opening theme is titled »Sai Sai Saikōkyū no Osewa Shite« and is performed by the music group angela, known for their work on titles such as »Fafner in the Azure« and »K«. The first promo clip offers a glimpse of the animated scenes, character voices, and a snippet of the opening.

The anime's story is based on the light novel series of the same name by Yusaku Sakaishi (illustrations: Sakura Miwabe) and follows the penniless high school student Izuki Tomonari, who becomes the secret caretaker of Hinako Konohana after a kidnapping incident. The heiress of a massive conglomerate is seen in public as a perfect lady, but in private, she turns out to be completely helpless in everyday life. A sweet romantic comedy with a flawed character unfolds.

The adaptation is handled by Studio Brain's Base, with direction by Shuusei Morishita (Gakuen Babysitters). Series composition is by Aya Yoshinaga, character design by Nao Kawashima, and music composed by Natsumi Tabuchi, Hanae Nakamura, and Mayo Kurihara. The original light novel is published under HJ Bunko (Hobby Japan) and currently spans eleven volumes; a manga adaptation by Sorahiko Mizushima is running concurrently. An English-language license is held by Monogatari Novels, and the anime will be streamed on platforms including Crunchyroll.
