The TV anime series "Saikyō Dehuzarashi Ōji no An'yaku Teii Arasoi" (roughly translated as "The Secret Succession War of the Strongest Underestimated Prince") will premiere in July 2026. Alongside the announcement, a first teaser visual, the main cast, and the key staff members were revealed.
The story revolves around Arnold, the seventh prince of the powerful Adrasia Empire. Mocked as the "drained prince" because of his talented twin brother Leonhard, he is in reality the SS-rank adventurer "Silver," one of only five on the continent who has mastered forbidden ancient magic. As the succession war escalates, Arnold pretends to be untalented and manipulates the power dynamics behind the scenes, ultimately aiming to place his brother on the throne.
In the main roles are Yuma Uchida as Arnold, Kikunosuke Toya as Leonhard, Maika Shiromi as Fiene, Maaya Uchida as Erna, and Kaede Hondo as Linfia. The series is directed by Yukio Yanase, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu in charge of series composition. Character design is by Kazuko Tomita, and the series is produced by MAHO FILM.
