During the MF Bunko J Summer School Festival livestream event, several key details about the anime adaptation of Sasaki and Peeps were revealed, including a teaser image, a 2024 release window, additional voice actors, and important staff information.

The anime, based on the novels by Buncololi and illustrated by Kantoku, has added Rie Takahashi as the voice of Hoshizaki and Akari Kitō as the voice of Otonari-san to its cast. They join Tomokazu Sugita and Aoi Yūki, who will voice the characters Sasaki and Pii-chan/Peeps, respectively.

Mirai Minato has been entrusted with directing the anime, known for his work in the anime industry. The series' scripts are penned and supervised by Deko Akao, while Saori Nakashiki is in charge of character design.

The story revolves around the protagonist Sasaki and his search for companionship to break the monotony of his work life. This leads him to a pet shop, where he buys what appears to be an ordinary bird—only to discover it is actually a sage from another world. This sage grants Sasaki supernatural abilities and the power to travel between worlds. Although Sasaki intends to use these powers for a peaceful and comfortable life, various intriguing characters challenge this simple desire.
